Should actors start worrying about becoming obsolete? Honda, IKEA and GM have all recently used robots in their advertising campaigns – Honda and IKEA did not feature any human actors at all. Certainly one benefit of this is not having to pay robots any royalties or international usage fees. Someone should alert Equity and the Screen Actors Guild!
